About
Design-Her Destiny was launched in 2018. We started as a program providing gently used (authentic) Designer handbags filled with beauty products and other gifts to encourage and inspire women to continue working towards their destiny. From 2018 to present, Design-Her Destiny has encouraged and empowered women through collaborations with Tidewater Community College's Student Resource and Empowerment Center and Career Collection Clothing Closets. We have provided Back-to-School resources for students attending college for the first time and assisted single mothers with their children's Back-to-School needs. We also collaborated with Sentara Clinical Revenue Cycle to donate 100 Period Packs to The Community Feed at TCC. Design-Her Destiny also donated feminine care products to poverty-stricken women and girls in Paris. We contributed toiletries to assist On My Mother's Shoulders, a non-profit organization in Georgia with toiletry pantries on over 50 college campuses.
